The Civilian Agency Mountain Rescue (encryption), Environmental Protection Agency of Sweden and the Swedish National Police will host this year, the Congress IKAR-CISA 2011 in Åre, Sweden. The venue will be in the town of Åre, Jämtland province. Åre is well known as alpine sports capital of Scandinavia and has hosted the World Championship downhill skiing, and a series of conferences and international events of high relevance.
The conference theme for 2011 is "preventive security in the mountains." This reflects the approach taken to Sweden to meet the challenges of the vast range of (often) difficult access. With a long-term, help reduce the number of emergency calls and maintain the mountain rescue teams engaged more in preventive safety. Because this concept has aroused great interest among member countries IKAR-CISA, which are expected to continue and develop the discussions on this topic in Åre.
