With improvements to its predecessor model (Extrication ), has a new waterproof and breathable barrier Hipora to protect hands from micro-organisms, such as tuberculosis, hepatitis, staph and HIV in addition to complying with OSHA standard Pathogens transmitted by blood (29 CFR 1910.1030 ).
The fingertips have a new design for improved fit and comfort, plus an elastic cuff and skirt to keep out glass and debris. The molded TPR (thermoplastic rubber) on the knuckles and fingertips reduces impact and increases structural rigidity, all this combined with reflective fabric inserts for 3M Scotchlite .
