Mh-c9000 Lacrosse 900 Compare

Technology: New flashlight PETZL PIXA 3

Petzl has recently announced the launch of a new lantern specific use for work and rescue tasks, which will be available starting this year, the Pixa 3 . According to its intended use, this model has characteristics that differentiate it from other headlamps of the same brand: for example, has an important resistance to shock, accidental falls and compression (more than 80kg. of resistance to compression!). Through its building materials, has an outstanding resistance to aggressive substances such as solvents and others.

The ability to rotate on itself and "hide" in this way the viewer, allows us to protect and lengthen the life of the same, avoiding damage unnecessarily lens the flashlight to keep in your backpack or toolbox. When placed in a position to "save", simultaneously blocking the function knob to avoid unexpected drive, resulting in accidental discharge of the batteries.

Here are some other characteristics:

- supports the use of batteries Li / NiMh.

- level IP-67 protection against water.

- ATEX / HAZLOC

Three versions are substantially different from the Pixa as its lighting capacity concerns. The model Pixa 1 is specifically designed to work near where good lighting is required, but diffuse. The second model ( Pixa 2) allows lighting focal and diffuse at the same time permanently, covering distances (short and medium). Finally, the model Pixa 3 (in our view, the model most suitable for intensive use and versatile) includes two different types of LED lighting independent, providing one proximal diffuse lighting and lighting the other focal distance, pudiendolos turn combine both ( HERE.) We consider it important to emphasize the sizes of these 3 models vary slightly from each other.

Unlike previous line of Petzl headlamps, this new model lacks the ability to regulate the intensity and focus separately, preventing in this way increase or decrease the intensity of use near or distant. In turn, no Boost ¨ ¨, which is very useful in situations where we must look beyond and we need for a short period, the maximum power that the LED can give us.

Excellent flashlight with incredibly useful features to work or urban rescue, good versatility and self- hardness and resistance to any test.
